John is highly skilled at what he does and is extremely organised. He has made our renovation and extension build experience very stress free. He has been patient and accomodating throughout the entire process whilst delivering exceptional work. We couldn’t recommend him more highly.

We wanted the design of the addition to be sympathetic to the character of the house but one that was also practical, modern and would support our beach lifestyle. The design was only the first piece of the puzzle. We’d come across enough surprises to know that we’d need a builder who wanted the challenge of working with an old house - John and his team were a fantastic fit. They understood what we were trying to achieve and offered practical and creative solutions to issues that come up. Furthermore, the team were respectful of the fact that we were living in the house.

John and Darren kept the site clean and tidy to the point that our boys could continue to play outside and enjoy the yard. Beside the sign on the fence, there was little visible evidence from the street that construction was occurring.

Building during Covid created supply chain challenges but we rarely experienced these due to the meticulous planning that had occurred.

We love the outcome and have had multiple people walking by stop to ask about the project, John and his team. We have nothing but the highest praise for his work and happily recommend his expertise.

Johno was also very open to having me work alongside him as a trade assistant which was very educational and economical.His expertise, good humour, patience and perseverance all combined to make Johno a pleasure to have on the project. We certainly would not have ended up with the quality finished product that we have without Johno. We highly recommend him and thank him for his efforts.

We undertook a major renovation on our Queenslander in 2016. This involved gutting the entire house and then slowly rebuilding over a 15 month period. We were fortunate to have Johno (as we came to know him) recommended to us by a mutual friend. The first job Johno did was to add a 15 metre x 3 metre deck to the existing structure. Other builders had looked at this job and basically said it was just too hard. Johno designed and built this structure to our complete satisfaction and so began a relationship that lasted the entire project. We wanted to do as much of the work as possible ourselves but there were many tasks that were beyond our skills set.
